365 Response is excited to announce that we have been shortlisted in the UK National Government Opportunities Awards 2020, recognising excellence in public procurement. The awards set out to provide recognition for a job well done and a way to share best practice amongst public and private organisations to further raise standards.

The awards were originally scheduled to be held earlier in the year, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, had to look to other ways of holding the event. The ceremony will now be held on Friday 17 July using innovative and interactive technology to host the awards online.

BBC presenter, Holly Hamilton will host the ceremony with Magician, Paul Martin, and organiser, BiP Solutions promises an exciting and engaging event, not to be missed. Amongst the award categories are Best Environmental Impact, Innovation of the Year, Best Service and Supplier Relationship Management; the latter two of which 365 Response has been shortlisted.

Best Service – Micro and Small Businesses and Third Sector Organisations

We’re proud to be recognised in the Best Service category for our innovative marketplace software. As a critical software solutions provider to the public sector, providing an exceptional service is at the heart of what we do. We’re proud to have created the first fully integrated digital marketplace for transport in the NHS. Our Digital Marketplace was designed in collaboration with several NHS organisations and began with a pilot just three years ago. This cloud-based solution allows NHS organisations to instantly purchase a range of services including all third party ambulance services, courier and taxi, all in a package that brings together governance, purchasing, booking and invoicing.

This service is used by many NHS Trusts throughout the UK, including the whole of Wales. By using the 365 Response Digital Marketplace platform, trusts are benefiting from a paperless process that is all hosted in one place, reducing significant management time for the NHS. Users benefit from a high-quality service that offers complete peace of mind for information governance and data protection; it is not only compliant to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001, it is also accredited with Cyber Essentials Plus. Users have experienced an average reduction in costs of up to 15%.

Supplier Relationship Management Award

We are delighted to have been recognised in the Relationship Management category for our work with the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust, delivering efficiencies for the procurement of taxi services across the whole of the North West. We have worked closely with the team to design the much-needed digital platform to transform the procurement and invoice reconciliation process. We are pleased to have delivered the project within the required timescale, receiving high levels of supplier engagement and a fully compliant service that supports greener miles and cost savings for NWAS.

Sarah Fatchett, 365 Response Founder commented “we’re incredibly proud to be in partnership with North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust, working to save time, money and effort for frontline services at this critical point. Our software is supporting people to get the care that they need immediately, using technology to make the whole process easier, quicker and safer for everyone.”

“Using digital solutions to drive efficiencies is key, and we’re pleased to have been able to work with NWAS to get patients to where they need to be, in a safe and efficient manner. Our collaborative approach allowed us to ensure the system functionality was optimised and tailored to NWAS, and we’re really grateful for their information sharing and feedback.”

We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted for these awards and consider ourselves in excellent company, with organisations such as City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, The University of Birmingham and Transport Scotland each included in the awards.

The judging panel is made up of thirteen professionals including David Smith – judging panel Chairman and former Commercial Director of the UK Department for Work and Pensions; Mark Roscrow (MBE) – previously served as Director of Shared Services Procurement Services at NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership; Duncan Eaton – Special Advisor for the All Party Parliamentary Health Group and Nikki Archer – Deputy Director, Head of Procurement and Commercial Policy & Strategy and Head of Procurement Profession for the Scottish Government.

We’d like to wish all of the shortlisted organisations the best of luck and we’re so pleased to have been recognised in these highly anticipated awards.
