We’re a social bunch over at 365 Response so it’s safe to say that this year has been a struggle, as it has for many! A strong supporter of Mental Health in the Workplace, Sarah Fatchett, Founder & CEO, was keen to ensure that the teams took time out of their day to stop and socialise.
Organised by our wonderful in-house Social Team, Jodie Horsley and Olivia Evans, we enjoyed two events to raise money for a charity that is close to everyone’s hearts – Macmillan Cancer Support.
Jodie commented, “we were obviously disappointed that we couldn’t do our annual Coffee Morning this year – we always have a great selection of homemade bakes and we look forward to enjoying a cuppa in the name of charity. So we decided we needed to adapt to our new norm, and we organised a group Teams call to get everyone to take time out of their day to stop and say hello.”
We’ve had a wonderful year in terms of growth, and it was a lovely way to ensure all of our new staff had the opportunity to meet the rest of the team. We got together on Wednesday 21 October and sat in our respective homes with our drinks and treats of choice, all whilst raising money for Macmillan. We wanted to make sure there were opportunities for everyone to take part, so we also organised a virtual team quiz night (we know, how original of us…) to further contribute to the great work that Macmillan do.
Unfortunately, cancer is something that will affect all of us in some way over our lifetime, so we’re proud to support Macmillan by raising funds to help them to provide care and support to those actively dealing with the devastating impact of cancer.
Our team quiz night took place on Wednesday 28 October and was a lot of fun. It consisted of 50 general knowledge questions, all to be answered within 20 seconds to ensure there were no cheaters at 365 Response! It was a really close challenge but there was one clear front runner for most of the answers, our resident Doctor, Chris Jones. Closely followed by Laura Burrows, Head of 365 Smart Platform and Luke Parkinson, Head of IT.
A total of £305 was raised for Macmillan and only a few egos were bruised in the process!
