Last night we attended the Wakefield Business Excellence Awards at the Theatre Royal Wakefield, and we won! We’re immensely proud to have won Large Business of the Year for 2021, which is quite the achievement as our business was less than half the size this time last year. It has been quite the week for our team, announcing yesterday that we have made a second acquisition, welcoming the full Flexiroute team into our group of companies.
We’re incredibly proud to be part of the Wakefield business community, and we have always championed the benefits of community engagement and the power of giving a step up to those around you.
Gavin Murray, Wakefield Express Editor, shared:
These prestigious awards recognise and reward a cross section of businesses and the vital role they play in the economic success of the region. Now more than ever do we need to recognise and champion those businesses who have diversified and persevered through one of the hardest years in memory.
Due to the contributions of many, we have thankfully been able to grow from a small start-up based in Ossett, to over 60+ employees based all over the UK and 2 central offices in Wakefield. Our innovative solutions can truly change lives for the better, and the entire team work incredibly hard to make this a reality. We know how hard they work and regularly shout about the team and their fantastic achievements, but we loved being able to share the experience of receiving positive feedback directly from leaders within the community.
Upon receiving the Large Business of the Year presented by Harry Gration, Brendan Fatchett, CEO of 365 Response, shared:
“Although our primary focus was on healthcare and councils, ultimately we’re a socially-orientated business. It’s about helping people get to the places they need to be in the most effective manner, that’s where we put our focus and energy. This award is a compliment to the entire team, and one they should be incredibly proud of.”
You can see just how enjoyable the awards were by visiting our Twitter. Don’t worry, we won’t let this win go to our heads. We’re still the same company, albeit a little larger, that promises to make difficult transport easier for all. We take extreme pride in our ability to offer a truly collaborative approach regardless of the size of our customer organisations, working closely with the NHS, Local Authorities, and private organisations to better understand their challenges and concerns.
If you’re curious about what aspects of our transport management system snagged us the award, just ask – you can always reach us at [email protected]
