There’s been much excitement at 365 Response this week as we have been recognised as finalists in 6 separate awards categories in the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards, The Wakefield Express Business Excellence Awards, and the Leeds Digital Festival Awards – we’re so grateful and astonished!
Following a rigorous judging process at the Yorkshire Post Head Office, 47 separate businesses and individuals made the shortlist for the annual award ceremony which recognises excellence throughout the wider Yorkshire area.
Entrepreneur of the Year
We’re clearly biased, but first and foremost we want to share that our amazing Founder Sarah Fatchett, has been highlighted in the category of Entrepreneur of the Year. Sarah has been recognised alongside Jerry Cheung from New Era Development and Martin Port from Big Change. This award honours rare individuals who inspire others to greatness and aren’t scared to take risks in pursuit of reward – something that Sarah Fatchett certainly did when leaving her high-ranking role at a large ambulance service to start 365 Response, with the aim of helping people get faster and more reliable access to healthcare when they need it most.
Designed to shine a spotlight on businesses that are setting new standards and reshaping the corporate landscape, we’re thrilled to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Innovation Award. 365 Response was founded on ‘outside of the box’ thinking and a strong desire to use technology to reshape how the public sector manages vital transport services. Having recently been shortlisted in the Digital/Technology Development category of the Wakefield Express Business Excellence Awards, we are proud to have been recognised locally as well as in the wider Yorkshire area for our work.
Alongside us in this category, we are pleased to have been highlighted with life sciences business, Avacta, and mobile workforce management company, BigChange.
Companies with a turnover of up to £10 million
This award celebrates large firms of the future that have proven to be achieving rapid and sustainable growth, underpinned by true product and service innovation. Once again, we’re delighted to have been recognised in this category in addition to being recognised in the Large Business of the Year category in the Wakefield Express Business Excellence Awards. 365 Response has grown at rapid scale in recent years, achieving significant sales growth as well as doubling the size of our team.
Sarah Fatchett commented “This is a team effort from 365 Response. Our fabulous software development and operational teams deserve this credit for tirelessly delivering the most innovative and effective SaaS platform in our field. After years of working in the public sector using old-style, clunky, poor, and disconnected tech we thought we could do better and are grateful to Innovate UK and GOV.UK for supporting our lift-off in multiple innovation fund rounds and now BGF for being our partner through COVID and supporting the front line in health, care, and education to deliver – day in day out.”
Mark Casci, Business Editor of The Yorkshire Post, said: “The Excellence in Business Awards are the premier awards for the region. Having chaired the event for five years I know only too well how much it means for firms and individuals to win one of these things. This past 16 months has been beyond challenging but it is more important than ever to celebrate the tremendous, world class achievements that this region is renowned for.”
The awards ceremony is due to take place on 17 November at Headingley Stadium and the 365 Response team will be pleased to be cheering on our fellow Yorkshire business community.
