We are delighted to share that this week we have been shortlisted in not one, but 2 categories in the Wakefield Express Business Excellence Awards.
We’re proud to be a part of the thriving business community in Wakefield, having doubled in size in the last 12 months to now providing jobs for over 60 people – many of whom are based in Wakefield. This recognition in the Digital/Technology Development Award and the category for Large Business of the Year is especially exciting as we continue our journey to provide ‘tech for good’ and rapidly scale, following significant investment.
Brendan Fatchett, Chief Executive Officer at 365 Response said, “It is wonderful to be recognised locally for our contribution to Wakefield Business Excellence. In recent years we have grown from a small start-up based in Ossett to having offices in both Wakefield Centre and Horbury. We’re proud of the progression that we have made so far and we will continue to contribute to the Wakefield economy, supporting local people into meaningful roles and giving back to our community.”
Gavin Murray, Wakefield Express Editor commented, “Now in its 10th year, The Wakefield Express is proud to be hosting the 2021 Excellence in Business Awards. These prestigious awards recognise and reward a cross section of businesses and the vital role they play in the economic success of the region. Now more than ever do we need to recognise and champion those businesses who have diversified and persevered through one of the hardest years in memory. We look to recharge and invigorate Wakefield’s economy and we can only do that by supporting our region’s business community. We are very much looking forward to this year’s event to celebrate all the excellent businesses in Wakefield!”
Following the news, Sarah Fatchett, Founder at 365 Response shared her love for Wakefield and gratitude to Wakefield Council; “We love Wakefield and its resilience over the pandemic. Wakefield Council makes so much effort to help business thrive here and we have found, retained and grown our local apprentices into brilliant employees and are so delighted one of our apprentice software testers has just been promoted to be a software developer. It shows if the Council, the UK GOV and business work hand in hand we can create great jobs, exciting career paths and retain talent, cash, tax and value for the UK and most importantly for Wakefield.”
The awards ceremony will take place at the Theatre Royal in Wakefield on Wednesday 27 October, hosted by Harry Gration MBE and the 365 Response team will be there to celebrate, win or lose.
