We’re proud to announce the appointment of the new Chair of the Board, Duane Lawrence. Following the recent £3m investment by the Business Growth Fund, a vital part of the strategy at 365 Response has been to implement a full Board of Directors and to rapidly scale the business by first investing in our people.
Duane joins us with over thirty years of experience in the healthcare technology sector and will focus on strategy, governance, resources, and communication. As an experienced Chairman and Executive, Duane previously led a series of both high-growth health tech SMEs and mid-market publicly traded global technology businesses across five continents.
Speaking about joining 365 Response, Duane remarked, “When joining any organisation, making a connection to the culture is critical. After meeting with Sarah Fatchett, Brendan Fatchett, and Dr. Chris Jones, I am confident that we share the same values and belief system, and passion for excellence. I am excited to begin working on clearing the path to our joined-up success.”
As part of the growth strategy, Duane will be working closely with all areas of the business to ensure that a solid technical and organisational infrastructure is in place in order to scale the business rapidly and meet our long term objectives.
Sarah Fatchett, CEO & Founder of 365 Response said, “We’re thrilled to have Duane on board to lead the strategic direction of our business as we continue in this rapid phase of growth. We’ve gone from strength to strength and the introduction of our new Board of Directors – with our recent investment from the Business Growth Fund – will support us to scale much further, much faster. We’re optimistic about what the future holds and we’re excited to invest in our people and our technology to reach greater audiences and expand into further markets.”
With an ambitious and inspirational ethos, Duane believes the key to success is ‘clearing the path’ for all employees to ‘keep running fast and straight’ toward their goals. The long-term plan for 365 Response will involve removing all obstacles from the paths of employees to allow them to achieve at pace, to make steady progress, and to grow substantially with the business.
Duane continued, “Good leaders inspire passion, and passionate employees take responsibility for the success of a business. I am at my most joyful when I see passionate employees growing and achieving excellence in their careers.”
