We’re delighted and proud to share that 365 Response Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Sarah Fatchett, has been shortlisted in the everywoman in Technology Awards. The awards celebrate the most inspirational women working in STEM with a number of dedicated categories.
Sarah Fatchett has been recognised in the Tech for Good Award, which is presented to ‘a woman who is driving forward an initiative that uses tech for good – whether as part of a social enterprise, diversity and inclusion, a focus on sustainability or any other area of impact.’
Shortlisted for her outstanding efforts to use tech for good in the healthcare and special educational needs space, Sarah has brought innovative technology to public sector transport, enabling greater transparency and control in the purchasing and organising of regulated transport, for those that are most vulnerable.
Sarah was driven by a desire to change lives by giving adequate access to patient transport and SEND transport in a timely and compliant manner. Working with some of the largest Local Authorities and Ambulance Trusts, the tech innovations introduced by Sarah and the team at 365 Response have driven positive change in areas that have been held back by years of archaic processes and lack of much-needed technology investment and disruptive thinking.
Sheila Flavell CBE, Chief Operating Officer of FDM Group commented:
“These awards are a celebration of the talent, hard work and commitment shown by so many women in the technology industry. At a time when the Covid-19 pandemic has tested frontline services – including our NHS – to the limit, the role of technology in keeping critical services running, connecting loved ones, and saving lives has never been more important. Technology has played a crucial role in fighting against this crisis and it will also play a profound role in the recovery. I’m so proud to congratulate the finalists in everything they’ve achieved so far and wish them all good luck! It’s no exaggeration to say that their skills, enthusiasm and energy are needed now more than ever.”
