How does it work?

We’ve used years of transport experience working with, and in the NHS, to develop the first digital transport marketplace where private patient transport providers can access regular work.

Working with and on behalf of many large NHS organisations, we have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by transport providers in gaining sustained access to high-quality work and getting paid quickly, with as few invoice discrepancies as possible.

Together with the NHS London Procurement Partnership, our digital transport marketplace helps approved transport suppliers to provide both ad-hoc journeys and longer-term shift requirements to the NHS for non-emergency patient transport, high dependency transport, mental health transport, renal services and more.

It’s not just a technology solution; our platform is backed up by a large, friendly team who are on-hand to help each patient transport provider through the process of joining the platform and taking the necessary steps to join the NHS frameworks for health and care transport. Once approved, you will have access to our easy-to-use platform, which will give real-time alerts when there are new opportunities for work in your area.

Using the digital platform, PTS providers can respond to mini competitions for long-term and ad-hoc journey requirements, giving opportunities to be shortlisted as a regular supplier to NHS Trusts that can require hundreds, or thousands of journeys per week.

Using the system to bid for and accept or reject work, helps to keep track of bookings and ensures a smooth process for quickly getting paid for work that has been done. PTS providers are given a unique opportunity to work in this highly-regulated sector and build future relationships that can lead to more sustainable work and business expansion.
We’ll support you through the process of becoming an approved supplier and you will benefit from being able to gain work with large NHS organisations on ad-hoc journeys and long-term contracts.
